Why should I seek a designer's help?
Designers have their own specialist skills and knowledge that will help you look at things differently. They will design in details which add value to your project that you may not have time to consider yourself. It is also important to be assured that your products meet all the relevant regulations which a specialist team can be up to date on.
Our design specialisms are:
- Electronic Design - Including circuit and system design, component evaluation and selection, and PCB layout.
- Industrial Design - The design of products for manufacture. This involves technical decisions on the properties of the materials to be used and how all the elements of a product will fit and fix together. Decisions will be influenced by marketing, production, quality and servicing requirements to better appeal to the target market.
Will you provide a fixed quotation?
Yes. 3Minds will meet with you to discuss your requirements without any obligation. We will then provide a fixed quote detailing the work to be done. On large projects we will usually schedule invoices against certain deliverables, these will be stated in the quote.
Can you advise me on the best way to make my product?
Yes. 3Minds have many years experience working with different materials and processes and can usually advise on the best route for your product if you can provide predicted volumes and a desired sale price and margin.
Can you manufacture our products too?
3Minds is primarily a design company but we do manufacture small batch quantities. We can of course help you locate suitable suppliers.
