November 2004 New programmable timers for multiple immersion heaters
3Minds has just launched a new range of Multi-Channel Timers to provide individual control of multiple 3kW & 4kW immersion heaters in a single unit. This integrated solution avoids multiple component sourcing and wasted time on the shop floor for the system builder and is ideally suited for larger systems with economy tariffs for both water heating and space heating.
The benefits to developers in specifying a system controlled with this product are many. The developer can control the extent to which his customer can operate or amend the system configuration particularly useful for social housing sites. December 2003 Mains water leaks dry up
A South-East property developer has specified 3Minds own WaterSafe leak protection system for 3000 homes it will build over the next two years. 3Minds have been developing the product over recent months which will be fitted to a frame which houses the hot water cylinder and washing machine in luxury apartments to be built in the Home Counties. Technical Director Andrew Lovatt commented This contract will provide a win-win benefit to the house builder and their customers. The house builder is benefiting from an additional safety feature it can promote and the occupants should benefit from lower insurance premiums as a result. The roll out on this first contract will begin in January 2004.
