Accessibilty

We recognise the importance of providing content that is accessible to all user groups.

At 3Minds we recognise the importance of providing content that is accessible to all user groups.

Access keys

Most browsers support jumping to specific links by typing keys defined on the web site. On Windows, you can press ALT + an access key; on Macintosh, you can press CTRL + an access key. The following access keys are available throughout this site:

  • Access key 1 - Home page
  • Access key 2 - Skip to main content
  • Access key 6 - Site map
  • Access key 9 - Send email feedback
  • Access key 0 - Accessibilty summary

Standards compliance

The pages within the 3Minds website comply with all priority 1 (and 2 / 3 where possible) guidelines of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines

All pages within the site validate as XHTML 1.0 Transitional and use structured semantic markup.

Navigation aids

All relevant pages have rel=start, previous, next, and home links to aid navigation in text-only browsers and screen readers.

Links

Many links have title attributes to describe the link in greater detail and where ever possible, links are written to make sense out of context.

All links can be followed in any browser, even if scripting is turned off. There are no links that open new windows without warning.

Visual design

The site use cascading style sheets for visual layout. If the browsing device does not support stylesheets at all, the content of each page is still readable.
